Help with Chp 4! Need Japanese Translation!

So I'm doing chp 4 with my friend, and we just finished fighting the branches/lighting up the squares and giant circle. If I'm not mistaken, once i step out of the area, I'm supposed to get a cutscene and kill this girl or something. I stepped out and got no cutscene but my friend did, so I'm essentially stuck now. My friend had the items that the trees dropped (oil, match, wood) and I went along with him. He has now finished chp 4 and I don't know what to do . I have screenshots of the quest thing so hopefully you Japanese speakers out there can translate for me

this is just my guess but you needed to collect the match/wood/oil too...in ch4, all players that need to do chapter need to collect 1 set of the items(i.e. 2 people doing the chapter need 2 wood/oil/match, 1 for each character). If you dont, you're just a helper that can fight the boss but not do the chapter events. Your friend was prob party leader and since you didn't have a set of the items in your inventory, the game registered you as a "helper" and not a event character(person who actually needs to do the chapter). Chances are you'll have to redo it, collect a set of the items for yourself and be the party leader unless you're going alone.

BTW, i can't read japanese but this is just what i assumed hapened based on what you've said.

yeah the match wood and oil is per character, not per round ><; you have to go again for yours
